3 we have a local breaking news alert.crews are on the scene of a fire in dearborn county. it broke out around 3:45 this morning on market street in aurora.initial reports are that someone was trapped inside.we have a crew on the way to the scene and will have a live report coming up in minutes. 3 a local mother and her daughter are remembered tonight. five days after they were tragically killed in a crash..desirae hensley.. and her eight year old daughter jakyria were hit head on..

spring last thursday.local 12's adam clements joins us *live* in the newsroom with details on how you can pay your respects.. as well as the latest on the investigation. 3 sheila.. this has been tough on a lot of people.. such a devastating loss. and right now.. still a lot of unanswered questions about how exactly this happened.let's go back to last thursday evening. right around seven o'clock.. thirty year old desirae was driving with jakyria.. heading north on us-27.. when another car veered over from the southbound lane and hit them head on. both desirae and jakyria were killed. the driver of that other car.. tammy feinhauer.. was taken to the hospital.so far.. no charges have been filed..at a vigil on saturday night.. a huge turnout.. hundreds turned out to pay their respects.. a very emotional scene.. lots of tears.. lots of hugs.. and a lot of people who loved this mother and daughter.. taken far too soon.. 3 "it's sad. just sad. but she know like i know that god's got us." "it makes me happy and sad at the same time that

many people together.i did speak with an investigator yesterday to get an update.. he told me they're still waiting for the results of feinhauer's toxicology report to come in.. which usually takes a couple of weeks.. but he said there were no obvious signs that she was driving under the influence..he also told me they're trying to figure out if tammy feinhauer may have been distracted by her cell phone at the time of the crash.. no word on when they'll get back those results..reporting live in the newsroom.. adam clements local 12 news. 3 tonight's visitation for desirae and jakyria is from four to eight at the main street baptist church in alexandria.. so far.. more than 25 thousand dollars has been raised on a go fund me page.. all that money will go to desirae's surviving 18 month old daughter. 3 the family of a local woman is suing.. after she ate a bag of salad tainted with listeria. lawyers for kiki christofield's family filed the suit in federal court against dole. according to the suit, christofield ate a bag of salad in january produced at a plant in springfield,

christofield, a 77-year-old woman, became so ill she slipped into a coma 3 drew falkenstein: "we want her to pull out of this. we want her to become the same woman that she was as of january 20th before she ate the dole product." christofield's lawyer says she has opened her eyes in recent days. dole has not responded to our request for a comment. 3 it's hard to believe a school shooting could happen here. but when it did.. the man in charge of protecting students at madison junior senior high school knew what to do. it's been a week since a shooter opened fire in the school's cafeteria. police say 14- year- old austin hancock shot two classmates then took off. resource officer kent hall went after him. he's talking about what happened exclusively to local 12. 3 "i have 30 years on the sheriff's office, 35 years on the fire department--i've seen it all. that's what i get paid for, but when i ran out that door going after the kid,

principals and the ad and everybody going to the kids." hall talked with our rich jaffe.. and says this was a worst possible scenario that ended the best way it could have. austin hancock is facing several charges.. including attempted murder. 3 a woman who was told she'd never be able to have a baby now has a chance. she got that news 10 years ago when she was just 16.. but she became the first patient in the u- s to receive a uterus transplant.lindsey doesn't want to give her last name.. but she had the nine- hour surgery at the cleveland clinic. the 26- year- old texas woman was born without a uterus. her donor uterus came from a younger woman who died with healthy organs. 3 "they have provided me with the gifts that i will never be able to pay and i am beyond thankful for them." doctors expect it will take about a year for the uterus to heal. the surgery has been successful in sweden.. where 5

3 new this morning.. cincinnati police are investigating a shooting in over the rhine.it happened just before 4- 30 this morning on east mcmicken avenue near lang street. investigators tell us a woman

hospital were she is expected to make a full recovery. 3 an accused heroin dealer is locked up and charged with involuntary manslaughter. police say vance morgan sold heroin mixed with a synthetic drug to another man.that other man was found dead from an overdose.morgan faces a number of charges including corrupting another with drugs and involuntary manslaughter. cincinnati police say they found casey fewell dead from a drug overdose back in october. the hamilton county heroin coalition task force says morgan was the source of the heroin that fewell used.and that it was cut with a synthetic drug called fentanyl. 3 39:33 if someone supplies a drug to another person and that results in that person's death, that person can be charged with involuntary manslaughter 39:40 morgan turned himself in sunday.he's expected in court friday morning. 3 donald trump is planning a visit to dayton.the republican frontrunner will stop at the dayton airport saturday.the website *eventbrite* dot com

3 more than a dozen people are hurt when a commuter train derails south of san francisco. the accident happened last night on a line between san jose and stockton in alameda county. crews had to pull riders from a partially submerged rail car that had ended up in a swollen creek. it was raining heavily at the time of the accident. four people are said to have serious injuries. ten have minor injuries. all train service on the line is cancelled today. 3 thousands of refugees that have arrived in greece are now staying in an abandoned airport. that's where they were placed as they wait for borders to open up in other countries. they're from places such as afghanistan, pakistan, iran and morroco. it's eerie to still see signs for departures to london and paris, when that is exactly where they're trying to go. the prime minister of greece warns his country is becoming a purgatory of fading hopes. 3 starbucks is recalling one of its pre- packaged breakfast sandwiches due to listeria fears.the item in question is the six- ounce package of
